Our philosophy of ensuring dignity combines with our policy of total staff involvement. We believe in the importance of the individual. Our highly qualified staff members provide care for the whole individual - physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.

Sycamore Healthcare Centre is the only skilled nursing facility located in Quincy, IL or the West-Central Illinois area to be awarded SHARP status from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Agency). This is the hightest standard of care showing our committment to care from our highly trained staff members.

Individual Programs

Every patient has special needs and different health concerns. We at Sycamore Healthcare Centre offer specialty programs designed to improve clinical outcomes with patented medical technologies and proven modalities. Some of our programs include, but are not limited to, an extensive skilled rehabilitation program, respite care for caregivers needing a break, a 46 bed Geriatric Behavioral Unit specializing in those who may be combative or agitated, an 18 bed Special Needs Unit for those coping with dementia or other related disorders, along with individualized or group therapy to enhance their ability to cope with life's many changes.

Various Payment Options

Sycamore Healthcare Centre is a Medicare / Medicaid certified facility in the state of Illinois. We are also a Blue Cross / Blue Shield preferred provider. Private insurance is also welcome. Our Director of Admissions is available to assist familites in applying for any financial assistance programs that they may be entitled to.
