Mrs. Marilyn McReynolds donated a major gift to the Alzheimer Association Quincy Area Branch in memory of her late husband to update and enhance the agency library. The agency purchased the latest dementia-related books and educational videos for family caregivers, professionals and persons with dementia. The new library will be known as the Dr. Ralph and Marilyn McReynolds Library.
This lending library provides valuable resources to increase understanding of the disease and caregiver issues. Books and videos can be borrowed for 2 weeks so families and professionals can review materials at their convenience in their own settings. These resources promote best practices and shared caregiving plans. All library resources are free and available Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
