Agency Overview
The Alzheimer's Association, Quincy Area Branch, is the
premier source of information and support for Alzheimer's families
and those with memory-loss disorders.
The Alzheimer's Association, Quincy Area Branch,
is devoted to helping optimize the quality of life for more than
3,400 people with Alzheimer's disease and other memory loss
disorders and their families in Central Illinois. Our services are free and include
advocacy, family education programs, a 24-hour telephone Helpline,
extensive library, agency newsletters, the nationwide Safe Return
program and support groups.
The Quincy office contributes a part of the funds it raises to the National Alzheimer's Association in support of the nationwide effort to encourage and support research into causes, improved diagnosis, therapy, cures and the prevention of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders.
Our Mission: Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
