Lincoln Trail State Park is located near the end of the 1,000-mile trail that Abraham Lincoln and his family traveled when they moved from Kentucky to Illinois in his early childhood. In rural Clark County, this 1,023-acre park combines Lincoln history with recreation to offer its guests a variety of activities.
Lincoln Trail Lake measures 146 acres and has been stocked with bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, and sunfish. Boating, camping, hiking, and picnicking are other popular activities among park guests.

Directions:
From Effingham, take Interstate 70 east 50 miles and take exit 147 south 2
