Illini State Park covers 510 acres and borders the Illinois River in La Salle County. The park was dedicated in 1935 and was named in honor of the Native American tribe who once inhabited the area.
Anglers enjoy fishing along the Illinois River and usually catch bass, bluegill, catfish, or crappie. Park guests choose from recreational activities such as boating, camping, hiking, horseshoes, and picnicking.
