Ferne Clyffe State Park covers 2,430 acres of scenic flora and fauna in the Shawnee National Forest. The park offers a wide variety of natural features that include waterfalls, cliffs, rock formations, canyons, and caverns. Ferne Clyffe’s 18 hiking trails provide a great avenue for park visitors to view the diverse plant species and the local wildlife.
Ferne Clyffe Lake covers 16 acres and has been stocked with trout, bass, catfish, and redear. Other park activities include camping, picnicking, rock climbing, and horseback riding. The park is also equipped with equestrian trails and equestrian campgrounds.
