Banner Marsh State Fish & Wildlife Area is a hunting and fishing paradise located in rural Fulton County. Purchased by the State of Illinois in the 1980's, there are 4,363 acres that feature abundant wildlife and waterfowl populations. This wildlife area is an excellent place for dog training and field trials.
There are more than 200 clear water bodies within Banner Marsh that offer a bounty of bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, northern pike, and walleye. Other activities include boating, picnicking, and wildlife observation.
