Illinois Telecommunications Access Corp.

How do I learn about the availability of a teletypewriter?
The Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation provides free teletypewriters to Illinois citizens who are deaf, speech impaired, or hard of hearing. The TTY Loan Program allows disabled persons to communicate by typing their conversation on a machine for the other to read.

To sign up for this service, call 800-841-6167 or request an application packet online at http://www.itactty.org/pages/programs.html.
