Illinois Adoption Registry

How does the Illinois Adoption Registry work?
The Illinois Adoption Registry allows Illinois adoptees, their birth parents, and adoptive families to voluntarily exchange vital information without petitioning the courts for approval. Identities, addresses, medical background, pictures, statements, and original birth certificates are examples of the information that can be exchanged on the registry.
