How do I learn more about Alzheimer’s?
Contact the Central
Illinios Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association for more
information about the disease, programs and services, research,
advocacy, and much more. You can access information
on their webpage
or by calling (217) 228-1111 weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00

How does the Safe Return Program work?
The Safe Return Program is a national program that helps identify and return
people who “wander off” as a result of their Alzheimer’s
disease. Individuals are given identification tags, clothing labels, jewelry,
or wallet cards that have a toll-free number to the 24-hour emergency hotline.
The Safe Return hotline reunites the individual with their family members or
caregiver.
Contact the Central
Illinois Capter of the Alzheimer's Association to obtain
a copy of the registration form or to learn more about the
program. Their phone number is (217) 228-1111 and their
office is open weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
