All Saints Catholic School

Interview by S.W.A.T. Team Reporter D.D.

Mrs. Reichert Is our new principal. Old news. Let’s think for a moment. Principals are supposed to be mean, old, and rude. Not Mrs. Reichert. She’s the new principal. She must be very excited to be here. Some of her accomplishments include:

-Winner of the Golden Apple Award 1998
-Former 4th grade teacher
-Now principal of ASCS

Let’s see what she has to say:

D.D. So, Mrs. Reichert, what do you like about the school as of, oh, let’s say now?
Mrs. ReichertMrs. R. I like the caring faculty, the supportive parents, and the awesome students at All Saints Catholic School.

D.D. ( Did you hear! She called me awesome!!! Oh, back to the report.) We all hate things right? Well, is there anything you don’t like about school?
Mrs. R. I really don’t like it when students don’t try their best at school or at their school work.

D.D. (Ouch, that really hurts. Just joking, we all can take things like this every once in awhile. ) Mrs. Reichert, what sort of things do you do as a principal?
Mrs. R.:Oh, let’s see. I interview students for the Spotlight on the Saints. I fill out paper work. Fun. I also visit the classrooms.

D.D.: Will we have uniforms in the future?
Mrs. R.: Only the future knows the answer to that one.

D.D
.: Do you think there is room for improvements in our school?
Mrs. R.: Yes. There is always room to improve, grow in Christ, and learn about the world around us. Some ways are to recognize students and faculty achievements, and to make the front lobby a showcase for our school’s faith, identity, and achievements.

D.D.: I would like to know what went through your mind when you found out about getting this job.
Mrs. R.: WOW!! I couldn’t believe this happened to me, but really, I was excited about my new job.
So we have a happy principal, a bunch of moaning kids about being back at school, and a faculty. Mix it all up and throw in a building with lots of rooms and we have a school. Not just any school, but All Saints Catholic School.
