Branson, MO - Table Rock LakeTable Rock Lake was created in August 1958 when the Table Rock Dam, on the White River, was completed. The lake is located just 6 miles southwest of Branson and covers an impressive 43,100 acres. Visitors can enjoy hiking, hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, and camping. Bull Shoals Lake is also a product of the White River and was created in July 1951 when Branson, MO - golf courseBull Shoals Dam was completed. The lake offers 740 miles of shoreline and visitors may choose from a variety of recreation such as horseback riding, camping, hunting, and hiking. The 45,440 acre lake is one of America's cleanest lakes with crystal clear water for boaters, swimmers, and fishermen to enjoy.

Lake Taneycomo, located between Table Rock and Bull Shoals on the White River, was created in 1913. Small in comparison, this 2,000 acre lake is big on trout. One of the finest trout fishing reservoirs in the United States, Lake Taneycomo offers rainbow and brown trout fishing year round. Visitors can also enjoy boating, camping, hiking, hunting, and swimming. The lake flows through downtown Branson.

Golf greenHercules Glades Wilderness is one of eight designated wilderness areas in Missouri. With more than 12,000 acres, this wilderness area offers 40+ miles of maintained hiking and equestrian trails in which to view the scenic surroundings. Copperheads, rattlesnakes, roadrunners, and tarantulas are among the unique creatures found at Hercules Glades Wilderness.

Located 30 miles west of Branson, Piney Creek Wilderness is another of Missouri's designated wilderness areas. This wilderness area covers 8,142 acres and offers visitors five hiking trails that cover more than 13 miles of scenic wilderness. Piney Creek residents include bobcat, armadillo, blue heron, and red fox.

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a 10,000 acre private wilderness refuge. The refuge offers trout fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking, and horseback riding. Visitors can see herds of bison, elk, and Texas Longhorns in the park. Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is located 20 miles south of Branson near Lampe, Missouri.
