Indians who inhabited the area, this state park offers the best in area
recreation. With some 1,360 acres, Johnson-Sauk is home to an abundant
wildlife population for those who like to hunt. Wild turkey, white-tail
deer, pheasants and dove are among the game available at this park. For
those who enjoy angling, the 58 acre Johnson Lake and the 3-acre Sauk
Trail Pond offer bass, catfish, crappie, northern pike and Muskie. Recreational
