Mission or Objective:
Purpose is to maintain and restore the Villa Kathrine in as close to its original form as possible while making it available for public and private use.

Overview:
The Villa Kathrine Tourist Information Center is owned by the Quincy Park District and leased and operated by the Friends of the Castle. It is located on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River. There were recent restorations. The Villa Kathrine is now available for use, touring and rentals. It is the only Mediterranean example of architecture in Quincy or on the Mississippi.

           Up to 75 people            $100.00 fee - $100.00 deposit/$200.00 with alcohol
           More than 75 people    $300.00 fee - $100.00 deposit/$250.00 with alcohol
      Grounds Usage Only - Building Closed
           $75.00 fee
           $100.00 deposit/$200.00 with alcohol

Eligibility: Open to anyone; Fees: Membership Fees: $15.00 and up; name coordinated to various levels. Tours are available $3.00 for adults, $1.50 for children 6-12 and children six and under are free. Call for appointment for large group tours of 10 or more. The Villa Kathrine can be rented out for weddings, banquets, and meetings. Limitations: Only first floor is accessible to handicapped.  Restrooms are located in lower level.
