Mission Or Objective:

It is the mission of Family Planning, Inc. to provide high quality, confidential, affordable, educational and medical services regarding female health issues and contraceptive choices to all area women of child bearing age in the greater Quincy area.

Overview:
Resource for educational materials and videos. Also provides community, professional and advocacy education to healthcare providers, social workers, schools and clergy. Education also provided to teens and women of reproductive age.

Provides low cost medical services, birth control and education for women.

Offers information on all methods of birth control, and carries most over-the-counter birth control methods, along with some prescription methods.

Offers weekly health care clinic, by appointment only.

Pregnancy testing offered, and counseling is available.

All services are confidential-no one is refused services.

  Educational Programs
Parent Education; Sexuality/Self Esteem; Abstinence, Contraception and Family planning; Safer Sex Decision Making; Breast Exam Instruction; Sexually Transmitted Diseases; Pregnancy Education and Referral; HIV and AIDS Counseling and Referral; Infertility Referral.

Medical Services
Physical Exams; Cancer Screening: Pap Smears and Breast Exam; Annual Gynecological Exams; Anemia Screening; Hypertension Screening; Pelvic Exams; Sexually Transmitted Disease and Infection Testing and Treatment; HIV Testing Referral; Birth Control Services and Education; Birth Control Pills; Pregnancy Testing, Counseling and Referral; Prenatal Care Counseling Referral.

Volunteers Needed:
Yes; Eligibility: Anyone of reproductive age; currently serving women only. No one is denied service. Fees: Sliding fee scale, based on income; Limitations: No prenatal care or abortive services.
