Cancer Survivors Network (CSN)
CSN is a web-based service for cancer survivors, caregivers, and friends.  CSN is a free support network, created by and for cancer survivors and loved ones, available on the web at www.cancer.org anytime day or night.  The network reflects issues that typically arise at various points along the survivorship continuum, including fears of recurrence, caregiver information and communication issues.

Look Good, Feel Better (LGFB)
LGFB is a community-based program designed to help female cancer patients maintain their self-esteem and restore their appearance during treatments through a partnership with the Cosmetic, Toiletry & Fragrance Association (CTFA) Foundation and the National Cosmetology Association.

Support for Recovery
Support for Recovery partners cancer patients with cancer survivors who provide one-on-one information and support.  From the initial information and pre-surgery kit to the phone calls, visits, and conversations, cancer patients receive the support necessary to help them through this difficult time.

Road to Recovery

Road to Recovery provides free transportation to and from cancer treatments for patients.  This program depends solely on local volunteer drivers.

Cancer Information and Resource Service
Our toll-free phone number and website are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to answer calls from cancer patients, their family members and others with questions about cancer-related issues.  The comprehensive information includes:  types of cancers, treatments, pain control options, local resources, and prevention and early detection guidelines.  This service is provided free of charge and can be accessed by calling 1-800-ACS-2345 or visiting www.cancer.org.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many opportunities for individuals to serve as an American Cancer Society volunteer.  Your local ACS office will match all volunteers with specific jobs, depending upon the individual's skills, interests, and time availability.  Volunteers organize special events, coordinate patient services, advocate for cancer legislation, drive patients to treatments, help educate children and adults about cancer prevention and early detection .... the list is endless!  By joining the ACS team to fight cancer, you can make a difference!
