Many antiques have been donated from area residents. They preserve them and put them back into use and use them as demonstrations. In the case of some machinery, people can use them for education and historical information.

Public flea markets selling antiques, collectibles, crafts, gas engines, old tools and tractors are held.
Location is the Adams County Fairgrounds near Mendon, IL.

Two public flea markets and craft shows, one in May and one in September, are also held.

We put on a static demonstration in the Quincy Mall in March each year.
Also there is threshing show during Adams County Fair.

This is a group of people interested in collecting old tyme items.

In September they have a program called "School Days" in which they invite all of the fourth graders from the county. They have various demonstrations and show a saw mill, an old school house set up, etc. They also have people who explain the different things in the program, such as when things were built, what their purpose was, and what they were used for. They also explain and demonstrate how things were done then and how some are still done that way today. Several buildings that they have rebuilt are on the site.
